Tailoring & Dress Design
Our tailoring and dress design program equips women with the skills to create high-quality garments. Participants learn essential techniques in sewing, pattern-making, and fabric cutting, giving them the tools to build a career in fashion or start their own business. By the end of the program, each woman has the confidence and knowledge to pursue opportunities in tailoring or dressmaking.
Hairdressing
The hairdressing program provides training in hair cutting, styling, and treatment. This course covers a variety of haircare techniques and client service skills, allowing participants to either work in a salon or offer their services independently. By mastering hairdressing, women gain a valuable skill that is always in demand within the community.
Gara Tie-Dyeing
Our Gara tie-dyeing course celebrates Sierra Leone’s rich cultural heritage by teaching women the art of creating vibrant, traditional fabrics. This skill empowers participants to produce beautiful, hand-dyed garments and accessories that can be sold locally or internationally, generating income while preserving an important art form.
Financial Literacy
Financial independence starts with understanding how to manage money. Our financial literacy program provides practical lessons in budgeting, saving, and managing income, helping participants build a stable financial future. With these tools, women gain confidence in handling finances, making it easier for them to thrive in their personal and professional lives.
Health and Wellness Education
We believe that true empowerment includes physical and mental well-being. Our health and wellness sessions cover essential topics, including personal hygiene, mental health, substance abuse awareness, and nutrition. By empowering women with knowledge about their health, we help them make informed decisions that lead to a healthier and more balanced life.
